At the beginning of 2005, the French Womenswear Association (Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin), on behalf of all the official French garment associations, launched the marketplace of the French garment manufacturers and service subcontractors.
It is the first attempt to make an exhaustive inventory of these companies in order to promote their specific skills, in France and abroad.
Many
French and foreign garment contractors, fashion designers and editors,
department stores, mail order companies, are looking for quality
manufacturing capacities in France.
